Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted by MAKE YOU HOLIDAY Representative. After a brief introduction, drive through the rugged landscape of the Kenyan plains to the Amboseli National Park situated in the north at the foot hills of Mont Kilimanjaro (19430ft) the highest Mountain in Africa. Amboseli is famous for its vast herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check in at your camp and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp (D)

You will spend a full day in Amboseli with early morning 06:30hrs and afternoon 16:00hrs game drives. Meals and overnight stay at Camp (B/L/D) Be sure to have your camera ready for today’s game drives in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and much more to the 392 sq km Amboseli National Park lies due south of Nairobi, within clear sight of Mt Kilimanjaro. The waters of the mountain feed the seasonal swamps and marshes on which the game and birds, which live in the park, rely. It is here that photographers will hope to shoot the classic picture of the elephant or giraffe standing against the dramatic backdrop of the snow capped mountain.

After breakfast, we travel into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha a beautiful fresh water lake, fringed by thick papyrus. Arrive in time to check in and have lunch. The lake is almost 13kms wide, but its waters are shallow.  The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural beauty, and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural regions. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores.  Giraffes are often seen wondering among the acacia, buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lake’s large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallow waters. Sunsets are stunning; with the haunting call of a Fish Eagle high over the lake bringing the day to a perfect end. Dinner and overnight at Hotel (B/L/D)

After breakfast, depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your camp for check-in and have lunch. The camp blends in perfectly with its surrounding hillside landscape. The accent here is on the Masai people and the wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon game drive at 16:00hrs around the world famous Mara. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp (B/L/D)

Full day spent in the Mara with early morning 06:30hrs and afternoon 16:00hrs game drives. All meals and overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D).Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers, full of crocodiles and hippos. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons why the Masai Mara, which in fact is a continuation of the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park, has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particularly dramatic “spectacle” from July to October, the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and zebras. Predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards and Lions of course, closely follow these herds. Gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can also be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes, and the many species of antelopes.

OPTIONAL (hot air balloon taking off in the beautiful early morning, you drift above the browsing game and have tremendous opportunities for unusual photographs. What could be more uplifting than an early morning safari in a hot air balloon flying over the vast plains of Africa? Witness an African sunrise as a plethora of wildlife roam the land beneath you. At the end of the flight you land on the plains, in the midst of this enchanting savannah a champagne breakfast is laid out with the mouth watering aroma of sausages, eggs, and bacon, sizzling over a charcoal fire. Drive in a leisurely fashion with game viewing on your way back to your camp).
